Historical Overview

In the 10th century, the Normans took root in northern France. Although they became sedentary, they were as brave and courageous as their Nordic ancestors. Of all medieval swords, the Norman swords are most similar to the Viking swords. The inscription ULFBERTH appeared on swords probably made in the Rhineland. Most of this type of sword has been found in Norway
